After four hours of playing cards, I went over and saw my dad's new house. They just moved in two weeks ago and he still hasn't finished unpacking. It's across the river, so it seems really far away from my mom's house. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. So even though the house in BA was nicer, this isn't so bad. It's actually kind of cute and I think once it's decorated it will be just fine. :)
When it finally got dark my mom, grandma (GPO), Dave, and I went to 101st and Garnett and watched fireworks. I have decided that if I'm ever rich and decide to put on a fireworks display, I'm going to make the entire show just like the finale. But then because the show is like the finale, I'll have to make the finale even greater.
So then Nick came and got me and then we went and got Joseph and then all three of us went and bought some fireworks. We decided to go shoot them off by this pond across from Starworld. More and more people kept showing up, which was really awesome. Let's see, Rocky showed up and he was scary because he kept throwing poppers and other things at us. Then Matt Saucier and Kyle came and brought even MORE fireworks. And then SHEREEN AND MONO (!!!) and Bria came and that was awesome! It was sort of chaotic and sort of scary at times with fireworks being shot off every which way. For some reason we all started fighting and rolling in the grass and we all ended up just laying there for a good half hour. And while we were doing that, we saw a shooting star!
But I had a lot of fun tonight. and it was great seeing everyone that I haven't seen a lot during the summer. I have missed you guys and I can't wait until August.
