Lawrence, Kansas

This has been an extremely long day... or past couple days I guess.

Sarah, Joe, Kelly, and I went to Lawrence on Sunday for Kelly's birthday. It was fun getting a hotel and downtown Lawrence has a lot of cool stores. I wish Norman had something more like that. We ate Greek food and it was really good.

Yesterday Kelly got a tattoo. I think she was very brave because I would have been scared of "Hitman", her tattoo artist. Actually, he was the nicest looking one of them all, but still.

We went to dinner at this Brewery place. After we were all done eating, I had this 3/4 full jar of this mustard left sitting on the table. It was really strong and had a sort of grainy texture. I told Joe I would pay him $20 to eat the rest of it. He grabbed the jar and then hesitated. He weighed out the consequences of eating this disgusting thing and what $20 could buy him. I didn't think he would do it, but he did. I took pictures and laughed at him. Kelly said I was evil, but hey, I paid him $20, I should enjoy myself. He almost threw up at one point and had to go to the bathroom. It was funny.

We left Lawrence (after following a Gwar van) about 1 a.m. Kelly drove the whole way to Tulsa. I can't believe she did that. I woke up randomly and asked if she was okay... she said yes and just kept singing to Bright Eyes.

We dropped Sarah off in Tulsa and then Joe drove to Norman. I was glad because I had to take my food handler's permit test at 9 in the morning. We got to Norman at 7. We were all really cranky except for Kelly, who is always very polite in the morning for some reason.

I took a shower, slept for an hour, took my retarded test, came back and slept and then drove back to Tulsa. I am sick of driving.

I'm going to a baseball game tonight with my mom and then possibly hanging out with Shereen and Nick later. Sounds fuuuun.

It was a good trip though and I hope Kelly had a good birthday! p.s. sign my guestbook & I will love you.
